Learn to Run a 5K


The Village of Bloomingdale has a perfect program to help you reach your goals of participating in the Walk-A-Thon on September 10th.

Join with others just like you in learning how to run and prepare for a 5k. Their running instructor Debbie Marzano will help you achieve your goals with coaching, accountability, and community. Walks and runs will help prepare you for running a 5k in the fall, and along the way learn helpful tips regarding pacing, nutrition, attire, and training. Runs will take place in various locations in Bloomingdale and the surrounding communities. You can expect to meet other like-minded people that Debbie brings together for her Saturday runs, and before you know it you’ll be lacing up for your first 5k! 12 runs in total.
